Capacity
Cripps has one very large room with flagstone floors, a huge open
fireplace and wooden beams. The marquee site is alongside the
barn with access through the barn’s large double doors.
For Civil Weddings our maximum capacity is 180 - we are licensed for 120 in the barn itself and a further 60 can be seated in the marquee - see here.
For eating the barn will accommodate 10 round tables, each of which seats
10 people, or 11 at a squash (not really recommended), giving a
capacity of 100-110. Most parties of over 60 people (and almost all weddings) need a marquee
to provide circulation space and room for the bar. With parties
over 100, you can eat in the marquee and use the barn as the
dancing area. See table layouts.
The barn holds 150-200 standing up, which again can be increased
to larger numbers with a marquee.

Catering. Please note that there may be a marquee
in place for other events even if you haven't booked one, but
it will not be accessible.
