We both loved the day and the only thing we would change is to make it go on for longer as it seemed to whizz past so quickly. We've lost count of the number of guests who have congratulated us on choosing such a perfect venue and it was certainly everything we wanted for our wedding.   We would like to particuarly thank you Jenny; you were so helpful, cool and calm throughout the whole process you put both Ben and me at ease. We were able to relax and enjoy the day knowing it was in your very capable hands (you didn't even flap when we got the time we were meant to go into dinner wrong by half an hour!).  The food surpassed our (very high) expectations and was superb.The canapes were so good we hardly got to see them as the guests ate the lot before they managed to reach us whilst we had our photos taken. Luckily one of the staff took pity on Ben and started to deliver the trays directly to him, and I'm fairly sure this was instrutmental in helping him to endure having so many photographs taken!  We also wanted to commend you on having such a thoughtful, caring and considerate team of staff, they really made the whole day run spectacularly well: our recently pregnant friend had her beef cooked until it was well done without a murmur, another guest with food allergies was blown away to be given an individual dish of dairy free dauphinois potatoes, and I couldn't believe it when one of your team helped fix my dress after a guest accidentally trod on it, ripping out the buttons which held up the train.  So we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone involved, our wedding was everything we could possibly have hoped for and more, we are still talking about it now and Cripps Barn will always hold very fond memories for us (perhaps w e'll even be lucky enough to have another party there one day)."

"We wanted to write and personally thank you for making our wedding day absolutely perfect.  When we arrived on the day and saw everything set up, we were in no doubt that we had chosen a very special wedding venuw.  We kept reading comments about what a wonderful job everyone had done but when it's your own wedding, it's hard to believe that everything will go just as planned.  But we had NOTHING to worry about at all, everything and everyone was perfect.  We would not change a single thing.  The barn looked amazing, the marquee looked wonderful, the staff were extremely professional and the service was flawless.  Apart from the obvious reasons we chose Cripps Barn, the food was one of the other reasons.  We'd heard so many comments and working with Mark we were assured every step of the way.  The food was outstanding, our guests could not stop talking about it and made so many comments about it being the best food they had ever had at a wedding.  We cannot thank you enough for making our wedding day the best day we could have wished for with so many wonderful memories."

"I just wanted to let you know that we have had some really wonderful letters from some of the guests at the wedding.  A complete cross section of all ages both sides (Bride and Bridegroom).   In every one  lovely remarks re Bride, Groom ,  Church Service, Cripps Barn being really good venue AND in every one there is a reference to the BEEF.    It was really special and everyone without fail has mentioned how delicious it was and how beautifully cooked it was.  We all agree but thought you would like to know as to cook fillet of beef for that many people AND to be carved by an assortment of carvers (hopefully not too full of champagne by then) is quite an achievment.  Thank you all again for making Sat. 30th Jan. such a special day for us all."

The food was out of this world (the talking point of the day, it's safe to say) and was exactly what we wanted (who wouldn't want a massive pie for their wedding breakfast?!). "Del and I want to thank you and your team VERY much for the absolutely wonderful day we had.  Your venue is absolutely superb and we were blessed with the sun coming out on the arrival of family and guests at the barn to show it off and for the wedding photos of course!  Everything was set up and organized despite early arrivals and we appreciated very much the water jugs and glasses being set out before the ceremony.  A number of guests did arrive in good time and thirsty.  We have had so many compliments and favourable comments made to us and special mention must be made to Jenny for all the organizational changes made before the day, to Mark for the totally delicious food (will we ever taste any better roast potatoes?!) and his calming words to Mother of the Groom a few days before the wedding about catering quantities and to the bar staff and waiters who were so unobtrusive and organized.  Thank you for your efficiently calm manner when we all first met at the Barn to discuss the wedding arrangements.  I will always remember sitting outside in the early hours of the morning by the huge fire under a starry sky, listening to a guest playing his guitar whilst looking back up to the beautifully illuminated barn where I could hear the wedding guests enjoying themselves. "Jenny, the 2 Marks, Felicity, and All the Wonderful Cripps Barn Crew, still on adrenaline and euphoria from our special day on July 30, 2009, I finally have some time to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for our dream of a wedding at Cripps Barn.  Although thank you doesn't seem to even cover it, your venue and staff will forever be cemented in our memory of the most extraordinary day of our lives.  Our wedding was a truly international family reunion with British, American, and Australian relatives taking over the quaint English countryside, and many a time did we hear from all who attended that it was by far the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to.  It poured every preceding day, but on the wedding day, the skies magically cleared to showcase gorgeous blue skies making our photos even more stunning with the backdrop of the barn, gardens, and wheat fields. The warm accomodating staff, the phenomenal food that was in abundance, from the cocktail sausages with Mrs. Bassa's sauce to the burgers, to the salads, and that gorgeous lemon tart with homemade ice cream that we're still getting comments about!  Even the evening meal at the end of the night was truly remarkable with the most exotic, lovely fruits and cheeses.  And then came the evening, when the bonfire was lit, the flares were a-glow, and the barn came to life with everyone dancing under the incredible light show of the barn's starry stone walls.   Looking at our photos and video now, we are still savoring every moment and can't believe the magnitude of how Cripps Barn completed our day.  We are forever grateful."
